2025 Fees

 ​St Lucia Kindergarten is a community based not-for-profit organisation. As such, any fees go towards paying operational costs, including staff wages and training, teaching resources, building maintenance, and utilities. Fees typically increase annually to meet the rising costs of service delivery.​

As an approved "Free Kindy" provider under the new Queensland Government funding scheme (from January 1, 2024), our Kindergarten will receive Queensland Kindergarten Funding (QKF) and additional funding to cover 15 hours per week of care for children in their eligible Kindy year.

Our service is not eligible for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS).

If we have vacancies, we will allow "non-funded enrolments" (5 day or early entry). Full fees apply for this type of enrolment to offset the absence of funding. 

​The following table displays the fees payable by families:

"Funded enrolments" apply to one Kindy group per eligible age child. A generous Government subsidy is automatically applied for this type of enrolment.

*Please note, the Equivalent Daily Fee is provided for comparison purposes only, fees are paid per term.

Term Fees are inclusive of:
all excursions, incursions and shows
a “Welcome pack” (including Kindy hat, sheets, sunscreen, library bag)

Families are invited to pay a voluntary tax-deductible $100 Building Levy towards our Building Fund in Term 2.

2025 After Kindy Care Fees

Additional service available Monday - Wednesday between 2:40 - 5:30pm
$35 per session for permanent term bookings or​​ $18 per hour for casual bookings.
