2022 Fee Structure
St Lucia Kindergarten is a community not-for-profit organisation. As an approved Kindergarten provider, we receive some State Government funding through the Queensland Kindergarten Funding Scheme (QKFS). The Kindergarten receives this funding directly, meaning there are no additional Government subsidies for families e.g. Child Care Subsidy (CCS).
To cover our operational costs, we require families to pay termly fees. As a not-for-profit organisation, all of our fees go towards paying costs such as staff wages and training, teaching resources, building maintenance, and utilities. Fees typically increase annually to meet the rising costs of service delivery.
Kindergarten Fees:

Magpie 1 & 2 – Five Day Fortnight Model (15 hrs per week)
Term Fee: $1025
Equivalent Daily Fee: $41 ($6.83/hr)
Kookaburra 1 – Three Day Week Model (18 hrs per week)
Term Fee: $1230
Equivalent Daily Fee: $41 ($6.83/hr)
Kookaburra 2 – Two Long Day Week Model (15 hrs per week)
Term Fee: $1025
Equivalent Daily Fee: $51 ($6.83/hr)
The Term Fees are inclusive of:
In addition to the Term Fee, families will be required to pay a $200 Maintenance Levy, which is refundable if families attend Working Bees. Families can also pay a voluntary tax-deductible $100 Building Levy towards our Building Fund.
For Pre-Prep age children, a Government subsidy is available for families with a Health Care/Pension Card.
After Kindy Care Fees:
$30 per session for permanent term bookings or $15 per hour for casual bookings.
